Sue Ryder Care has approximately 350 charity shops nationwide which stock good quality, affordable items.
We raise funds through our shops to support our health and social care work.
Please donate good quality, clean reusable items to our shops during opening times.
We accept clothing from baby wear to ball gowns, shoes, china, kitchenware, collectables, pictures, ornaments, soft furnishings: small rugs, linen, curtains, toys and games, CDs, DVDs, music, musical instruments, jewellery, bags, and accessories.
At many of our shops we accept furniture and electrical goods such as settees, wardrobes, tables and chairs, cabinets, beds and small working electrical goods e.g. table lamps, DVD players, musical appliances .
Often we are able to collect free of charge from your home. Please contact your local shop direct to offer the donation and make any necessary arrangements. Our staff will ask you some simple questions about the item as we must ensure that it is saleable. If you are donating an item of soft furnishing we may ask if it has the fire retardant labels attached. Without them, we are unable to sell it as it is a legal requirement.
